Back to 1400m after his daring front running win ten days ago over the 1800m. Not sure about his chances today though. Down to 55kg, with Marnu claiming 1.5kg, lovely weight, but obviously up in class. I suppose it’s a back at your own risk scenario today. He’s 7/1 in the market. If he comes through the race, he will go to the 1600m Emerald Cup on Saturday. The stable also has a first starter in the 6th who trailed nicely, but I’m not involved in him. He’s the No.1 saddlecloth in that race. Sirius in on Saturday in the main sprint at Flemington and I think he’s overs at 23s, but again, he’s rising 8, Luke Nolan to steer. Hoping for a nice result today for Roy.
