I agree, we should never judge a book by its cover big e but the quality of the spine is a good indicator of the quality of a book.
Still, I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t smarter than me at something. Beauty is only skin deep. If you remove the first layer and find ugliness it will continue all the way through. Derogatory comments point to deficiencies in the person issuing them not necessarily to the person receiving them. A joke is only funny if everyone laughs.
