Thursday 8th November - We have lift-off

SPI Futures traded in a 59 point range last night, with a high of 5908, low of 5849 and a close this morning of 5905, 3 points off the top, up 42 points, on very low volume of 7,285 contracts. Humm, note the very low volume bit. Based on that range, my high resistance line is 5946, then 5932, 5924, 5917, 5910, 5902, the pivot point is at 5887, low support line is 5828, then 5843, 5851, 5858, 5865 and 5873. A 15 point push at the close took out the upper gaps at 5903 and 5908, leaving one at 5911. Gaps below at 5894, 5877, 5860, 5855 and 5853 to name a few. DOW up 2.13 pct, SNP up 2.12 pct and Canada (resource driven) up a modest .50 pct. VIX down 17.83 pct to 16.36. Happy Days. So, will the lift-off continue, or will it be 'Houston, we have a problem'.. Have a nice day.
