I work out in the morning, what the SPI has done overnight, and then based on that, what she is predicting the XJO will do at the open, the open being 20 past 10, due to the staggered open. SPI opens at 10 to 10, so there is a 30 minute window of opportunity. I look at what US futures are doing, as at the moment, they open 1 hour before we do, and then work out whether the gap is too much or too little, and whether the XJO projection makes sense or not. During the open, the SPI tends to be mean reversing, will open at either a level, or an unfilled night gap, and then will generally gravitate back to where she started - gap fill. The bigger the gap, the more probability it will fill, and don't be greedy, and get out before the gap fills, just in case. If that makes sense.
