My dynamic highs/lows are based on 24 hr SPI trading.
So yes today SPI made a low of only 3840 but with the switch to Sep which I did from yesterday's close, last night's low was 3829 and my overnight/daily low band was 3824 and weekly was 3821.
A bit confusing because of the change over I agree.
All dynamic readings are SPI as I usually specify and adjustment needs to be made for the SPI/CMC difference at the time.
I know you mentioned something about a continuous rollover or some such like that made no sense to me. CMC has no direct relationship with the SPI and is sometimes close but often 40 pts higher or lower.
