reading through my posts in may, maximum pain was at about 860.

the spx hit a high of 930 on 8/5 (i.e. a week before opex) and then sold off and worked it's way towards maximum pain.

on options day, the spx peaked at 897 and then sold off for the rest of the day with the low coming in at about 877.

for june opex, if you have a closer look at where the money is, 920 seems to be a better level for maximum pain.
