Hmmm, need to make a public correction to my previous posts. I may have upset a few people.

a) Since the GM IPO is around 20 billion. It being apparently oversubscribed 6 times, means ~ 100 billion $US will miss out and will need to be parked somewhere else. Not sure how accurate and reliable these reports are though.
Could be pure speculation. Also not sure where all that POMO money of the last few days went. I am really curios about tonight.

b) About the market makers ..... it was only fun. However, the market makers certainly play their part in killing the intraday volatility. However, I think they main reason is probably the lack of retail funds. Does anybody know whether any information is available how much 'real' money flows in or out of our market on a daily basis?
