Thursday Feb 13 - Money

SPI Futures traded in a 44 point range last night, with a high of 7062, low of 7018, and a close this morning of 7061, up 42 points, on volume of 16,985 contracts. There were three unfilled gaps on the high side, and now there is only one, as the gaps at 7053 and 7056 filled last night, leaving only 7070 from a previous day in January, and then down at 7056 and 7053 again, funny that, and 7033, 7031 from last night, and 6988, 6982, 6976 and 6970 from a previous day, and then the rest. DOW up .94 pct, SNP up .65 pct and Canada (resource driven) up less, at .31 pct. VIX down 9.49 pct to 13.74. Have a nice day.




Today in 1982, Pink Floyd's album "Dark Side of the Moon" marked 402 weeks in the album charts. The album received critical acclaim upon release, and has since been hailed by critics as one of the greatest albums of all time. Of interest to traders, would be that the album was promoted with two singles: "Money" and "Us and them". Yes traders, there is Us trying to make Money, and Them, trying to take it from us. "Money, get back. I'm all right Jack keep your hands off of my stack".
