Thursday June 13 - Mission Impossible

SPI Futures traded a small 20 point range last night, with a high of 6564, low of 6544 and a close this morning at 6552, up 2 points, on low volume of 8,600 contracts. Two gaps from last night, up at 6555 and 6558. First lower gap is 6481 which is 71 points away on the downside.. Nice. DOW down .17 pct, SNP down .21 pct and Canada (resource driven) down less, at .13 pct. VIX down .50 pct to 15.91, bucking the inverse correlation, which previously has occurred just prior to a change in trend, although VXD and VXN were in the green. Banks and energy were down, and defensive stocks up. Humm. ES filled the lower gap I mentioned yesterday.

Today in 2018, a Raccoon climbed a 23 story office building in St Paul, Minnesota, becoming an internet sensation. After 20 hours, she made it safely to the roof and was caught by animal catchers, given a feed and was released. It was rumoured that the Raccoon bought a Furrari with the sponsorship money from the Mission Impossible team. Raccoons are a bit like traders, as they don't know when to stop, have dark circles around their eyes, stay up all night, and eat mostly garbage.
