SPI Futures traded in a 31 point range last night, with a high of 6394, low of 6363, and a close this morning at 6383, up 21 points, on volume of 10,941 contracts. Based on that range, my pivot point and R and S levels are below. SPI was a red arrow all day yesterday, (well, she did a lot of work the previous night), and then green arrow once the XJO had closed. Gaps from last up at 6391 and down at 6380 and 6362, (close of the day session) and then 6356. Next ones up are at 5403, 5411 and 5412 which is the opening gap from May 31st. Look at those headlines 'Hope that the Fed will cut interest rates amid a slowing growth environment' and 'weak private jobs data raises rate cut bets' sent US markets up, with the DOW up .82 pct, SNP up .82 pct (yes, the same) and Canada (resource driven) up less at .29 pct. VIX down 5.52 pct to 16.09. Yes, how to turn a negative into a positive...add a bit of hopium. Have a nice day.

Today in 1944, Operation Overlord: D-Day began as the 150,000 strong Allied Expeditionary Force lands in Normandy, France, during World War II. This was the largest air, land, and sea invasion in history. The goal was to surprise Germany, but Germany was ready to fight. It was the beginning of the end of World War II.

    Come and stand in memory
Of men who fought and died
They gave their lives in Normandy
    Remember them with pride.
