I assumed wrongly this was the diesel rebate renamed. However it's available for all businesses so why should mining companies be excluded? It's not the taxpayer chipping in either, it's businesses not being charged a tax to operate the vehicles/machinery required to run their business. It's a left/right issue because those on the right want to see business be successful and grow to make a prosperous country while those on the left want to kill anything that makes money
