mattswrxy, thanks for your concern. I am not joking. Glass half empty and half full, it is my current approach to tackle the unpredictable market. I don't take 100% long or 100% short at any time.
You know, my aim is not high. Target total return like 10-20% annually. It is not difficult target to reach, giving cash on call rate up to 6%. I just need do some extra work to get another 4% to meet my minimum target.
Well, I noticed that our regional banks outperform the big fours recently. I suspect people's risk appetite grows. It is also confirmed by the XAO doing better than XJO.
Talking about XJO, S&P200. It is laughable for some fund managers to pay fess to Standard and Poor for using its share list to be under-performed All Ords.
