zoombie - I tend to think you are better off buying things when they are cold and no-one likes them... When everyone starts crowding in and the prices start to fly, usually the end is near.
But it all depends on your time frame, etc. There are some great short term momentum longs cranking at the mo'.
I'm more of a med-term guy myself and have very bad luck with the really short term stuff.
