But it doesn't seem to have affected greatly the FT100 nor the DAX.

BTW... If anyone saw Lateline Business this evening, there was a chap from some big money laundering, ooops!, I mean trading house, saying that every time the economy dips, the rest of the world moves further away from the USA economy. Thus, I think see was alluding to, that if the USA does not fix its debt to GDP problems, then the USA will be left far behind the rest of the world.
