There is one big difference with the decline last night and that of August - weakness in the US dollar. Last time the US dollar rallied as the market sold off. We all are aware that the dollar is on the edge of a precipice so of course the question now is whether it will fall over the edge. Impressed that HUI only weakened a smidgen last night along with a slight fall in gold. Maybe there is a chance for gold and our little goldies. YUM.
