Just on the carbon tax for a moment. I reakon the independants should push Swanny for some banking reforms and some interest rate cuts to make up for any carbon tax expenses. Lower interest rates might get some money back into shares too.
I think businesses would be willing to bear that, I know I would.
Anyway, maybe too low volume for turning point. Copper doesn't look too good. On the SPI daily, I have a demarker buy signal due Friday night/Monday. Maybe further downside into the weekend?
Maybe oil has to fall a fair bit before we can get a good rally.
