McLaren sees above 76.3 as bullish for the dollar index, so bearish for shares.
It's gapped up to within a whisker, 76.28.
There's some damned if the SPX does and damned if it doesn't in McLaren's latest.
As I understand what he says, if the SPX makes a new high, that's the end of the rally.
If it doesn't, there's the danger of a lower top.
