t/u from me treggs ..I've found that when you tell the truth people hate it if that's not their position .The t/u seems to me to be a popularity contest Since I've joined HC I'm staggered at the 'just plain wrong but what people want to hear ' posts that get massive t/us .It's also apparent that there is manipulation going on on some sites with the t/us
However , I've worked it out , when I visit the site of a stock I'm interested in the first thing I do is look at the posts that have no t/u's so I can get the real story , or an alternative perspective.
Personally I don't want tu's It's an indicator that you're telling people what their perceived position already is. To be fair , their are many insightful and informative posts that get the t/u's but overall it's a bit of a giggle
