Right or wrong depends which side of the fence you are sitting on.
This subprime problem had the capacity to send the US into depression, that would not have been pretty for not only the US but the rest of the world.
The reality is that the markets like it, the subprime problem is no longer an issue and eveyone is back to making money.
All those people that have been sitting on huge stock losses that had nothing to do with dodgy loans have been paying heavily, relief has finaly arrived and I'm sure they are not complaining.
