I think we can forget powering on.

The US is likely to be anaemic for years to come.

There will be good rallies and falls based mostly on technicals.

I think a US rally is predicated on falling commodity prices and commodity rallies will cause equity heartburn.

With 9 million vacant houses in the US I have a sneaking suspicion it may take a little bit before they become a source of wealth again.

You may do your own study but US equity markets booming along with commodity markets would be very unusual.

I suspect there may be switches back and forth for some time before equities become a real force again.
