I couldn't agree more with your view.
I'm a bear aswell and like being short. Funny enough I've just been looking at my day trading stats over the last 4 months and I've been long 75% of the time. But all my major winners have been being short. I'm only breaking even being long.
I guess I have to work on my long game. (ain't that the truth :))
Only been long today Hang seng and XJO Earlier.
I'm currently long the Hang seng and the Dax.
