Volt, your mind is the MCG in full flood lights....I don't hold a candle to that in the illumination.

You're not alone in the confusion...when everything hums along like a harmonious orchestra, it makes sense.

But when all the variable inputs --the individual musicians--go their own way and produce a discordant noise ....it doesn't make sense.

Or put it another way.... look at an orchestra and listen to the symphony....it's a beautiful and familiar thing.

But try to pick out individual musicians, the tones they produce within the whole, and we're no longer seeing the forest for the trees.

But enough of my silly mixed metaphors.... :))
