I too am no EWer but do look at it as minor tool in my arsenal. 30 years ago I found it very usefull, but probably its common use has made it more complex and/or more open to manipulation by big boys.

Apart from those few days around Nov 21, SPI and XJO at 3500 on a close basis has been the line in the sand it seems.
Of course that was the 2002 bull highs for us.
A serious close below that level would not be a good sign IMO.
