i bought stacks after the announcement because i had not previousl paid much attention to the quality of assets that UMC have or had no clue about THX. i think there is upside potential because with certain cash in their hands there is a lot that THX can do with such qulity assets. . . .
with hingsight, i should have watched the stock a bit longer because the chart suggest that unless there is active buying, supported by the indexes or a major shareholder, there is some downside potential in the short term.
