thx the cheap way into umc upside

hopefully this week sees thx return to favour as umc continues to gain .... the buyers have been nibbling in mid-30s i suspect it will be .40 before end of next week.

No doubt in my mind that if UMC gets the results we all expect that deep pockets will come knocking on thx's door ... apart from all their cash, other drilling and holdings, its the 20% holding in UMC that offers a tantalising case for THX at much higher prices. that stake could be worth a premium considering what it could mean in the context of any raid on umc's IO potential .... now i dont want to lose my umc holding to a low bid, but i think the danger is there for the company to be raided before reaching full potential.

its been mentioned here before, but as someone who has recently topped up my thx holdings as a cheaper entry into umc upside, im certainly thinking i won't be the only one to see the compelling value.
