Interesting YouTube knew I was interested in titanium after watching the TTT video. As a long term TTT SH but not an engineer, I found this video educational to compare Ti with other metals in real life situation. Overall it demostrates Ti has desirable properties and the cost holds it back which TKF can solve. It does mention Ti becomes stronger in the forging process ? compress the atoms which AM doesn't do. There were some other minor practical disadvantages of Ti but some could be fixed with alloys. Anyone more scientific have a comment on these?
