If they can get this sorted it would be hospital gold. I work in a health setting that has no ED or ICU, we are constantly shipping out patients with chest pain . Troponin currently takes time. If you can rule out MI's on the spot at the earliest its detectable, the flow on health benefits would be enormous.
A practical list
-decreased inter hospital and into hospital transport lag time and cost
- decreased precious dr time being requested
- decreased patient wait time with life threatening illness, earlier intervention .
- improved code blue management procedures
-less invasive blood tests
- less ed waiting time for results which are needed to direct further investigation , such as CT( this one is a huge cost and health system burden atm.)

Outside of hospitals you could see one of these in every low and high care residential facility, retirement village, gym............if it works, its a goer.
