    Just to amuse myself while we wait... possible telltale signs of a good or bad announcement:

    good

    * announced first thing in the morning
    * announcement heading has "postive results" or "significant" etc
    * people in the know buying preceding announcement by a day or two

    bad

    * announced at or after close of trading
    * boring heading like "clinical results"
    * a big fall in share price 1 or 2 days preceding announcement.

    Um, have I missed any other telltale signs, one way or the other???
