I’d argue the fall in the AUD caused AMC to rise. Specifically when it went below 74c. I’ve been looking to buy some more and failed to pull the trigger when it was around $13.70ish as I was expecting further weakness.
However, the AUD is well above 74. So I suspect some pressure to the downside. Secondly, personally I’m going to wait for the 30 June report for some disclosure on further cost pressures which may see a flash crash to low $13, as per the Macquarie conference.
Will see if I’m right, but I expect this to be $13s, more likely than not.
