no one stays on top forever, intel pentiums had the lead in 80/90s, then amd k7/k8 trumps intel p4 in 2000s, intel came back with core2s knocked out amd for a decade, for 10 years amd releases dogshit cpus that nobody wants , share price was 2 bux back then , then comes amd ryzen in 2017, the rest is history.
i don't have foresight to buy amd at 2 bux , but i also know amd won't stay on top forever
