jamwolf, GBG and SDL ain't the same thing.
BTW, GBG has already sold 50% of the farm to the Chinese. Was built during the worst of the cost blow-out period of the mining boom. Diluted to next to nothing and plenty of debt to repay.
GBG is a largely a one-mine story. low grade magnetite, high cost (benfication) operations with shipment CAPPED at theoretically MAX 16MTA which Geraldton can cope with. Oakajee is dead for good.
Sundance is a strategic resource straddling the next Pilbara, high grade, low cost (that the Chinese can own outright).
SDL resource is also in SYNERGY with IO deposits from the adjacent region. Controlling the SDL first-move infrastructure controls the entire region.
The Chinese weren't even allow to partially own the oakajee rail & port infrastructure.
