it's as if the oil price just ain't a worry...

    I can't believe with oil at it's record high there is virtually no talk or for that matter concern about this fact. It is as if people are in a consensus trance that if you ignore it, the problem will go away. If only that were the case!

    There are only a few posters on here who share my concerns, which is surprising since the rising oil price affects everyone and every stock directly and indirectly. People are rejoicing as commodity markets continue to push new boundaries but the underlying current beneath these rises are rising costs of production as a direct flow on from high oil prices and a pathetically weak US dollar. Do you realise how much energy it takes to turn hematite into iron ore? Or how much energy it takes to crush gold bearing ores fine enough for cyanide to effectively dissolve out gold?
