I have faith in those scientists that have proceeded through and currently residing within phase 3. I was once like you and against the idea that a vaccine would be soon however the research and initial trials have really shone through. I also think although SARS and MERS (which is also a coronavirus) as nasty as they were, have had their place because of the years of research around those has expedited the understanding, trials and soon to be vaccine for COVID.
