You seem to be straying away from the actual numbers that Sweden has produced. That's not a model. That's not a prediction. That's a fact.

Any country where there has been no controls or very lax controls had seen large numbers of deaths compared to Australia. Clearly strict hygiene controls work.

So a reasonable minded person would conclude that given the similarities between the countries and the circumstances, the outcomes would be similar. Hence Australia's response which has now been demonstrated to be very effective..............

When it comes to discussing morbidity stats, anyone who wants to be taken even remotely seriously in such a debate would avoid use the descriptor of "similarities" to compare countries which have a 30% variance in death rates.

Differences, on the other hand....
