Can you say, absent powers of clairvoyance, how you know survivors will have severe life long health issues?
Can you cite any independent clinical evidence of this?

On the other hand, what we do have is a vast body of clinical evidence that alcohol, cigarette smoking, junk food and stress definitively DO result in severe life long health issues.

But don't actively cause millions of people to lose their livelihoods in order to stop those social "pandemics".

So why this one, and not those?
