Yes, on a per capita basis, more people die of natural death there than here.

Specifically, the death rate in Sweden is 9.4 per 1,000; in Australia it is 7.3 per 1,000 (2018 data).

The reason is that - while life expectancy in Sweden is very similar to Australia (around 80 years), Sweden has an older population (over 20.4 of Swedes are older than 65 years, compared to 16.4% in Australia)

So, perfectly intuitive, one would have thought: If there are more old people living in place A than in place B, do you not think the natural death rate in place B would be different - by physiological definition, higher - than place B?
