Barry Fitzgerald wrote the story in The Australian. Yes CN was quoted a number of times. But it was Bazza who wrote the sentence/paragraph you have referenced. It's not a quote from CN. Read it again. Are there any quotation marks bordering the sentence/paragraph?? No there aren't.
