Realistically there is serious upside here upon good news from lihir. For me, the fiscal cliff situation seems to be an exciting catalyst for the price of gold. If they go over gold goes up. If they avoid it gold goes up.

Stranger things have happened but I conclude that I've never seen so much reward for such little risk. I've gone in hard and e pectin to get rewarded in the medium term.
