Although a merger with WAF might be a good idea, I don't think the major Chinese shareholders here would permit it, because they will want control eventually, at the cheapest price they can get.
A merger with WAF would put all the TIE gold out of Chinese reach, so it's not likely to happen.
I'd expect there may be some Shorting of the stock, then someone may attempt to take advantage of that and lob an initial low bid at around 75 cents, just to test the market response.
Personally, and at the current stage of development, given the gold price, I would not even entertain looking at any offer under $1.40, and even then, it's line ball as to whether it should be considered.
The Chinese seem to have this one wrapped up, they've beaten the Ruskies to it, so it's just a matter of time before it's taken out, but the question is, at what price?
