New Records For Bill Express
Melbourne, 16 August 2005 - Bill Express Limited (ASX: BXP), is pleased to
announce that the company achieved new record sales for the month of July 2006.
Dialtime revenue in the month grew to $77.4 million (July 2005: $44.8 million). This
was an increase of 8.7% compared to June 2006 and an increase of 72.8%
compared to the corresponding period in 2005.
"During the period we passed a significant milestone with in excess of 350 billers
being contracted to go live with Bill Express. We also passed another significant
hurdle in July 2006 with in excess of 14,300 sites trading during the month. We had
3,326 sites trading during the month as Bill Express sites. The balance of sites
consists of self service kiosks and Dialtime sites. As billers are added and public
awareness of our system expands our revenue continues to grow,” said Ian
Christiansen, Chief Executive Officer of Bill Express.
“Furthermore, during July we released our new bopo prepaid Visa card which is being
progressively rolled out nationally. This card is being very well received in the market
to date. The executive management team are very excited about its prospects," said
