I wouldn't expect any H/Copper readers to agree with this but here goes.
Tiger has essentially been a party to a type of fraud. Not a fraud in a strict legal sense but an action that fits the dictionary definition of a fraud.
He makes money on the golf course through his ability but he makes money off the golf course through his image + golf ability = lots of $$$$$$$$.
Now the image part of that equation was carefully crafted. However, in reality we now know that image was a mirage which he worked hard to perpetuate.
