TICKETS for week one finals at the MCG and SCG are set to go back on sale for members of competing clubs at staggered times beginning Tuesday afternoon.
Earlier on Tuesday ticket agency Ticketek, which only recently signed a new deal with the MCG and also manages ticket sales at the SCG, was forced to shut down sales after major technical issues.
Public ticket sales will now be delayed.
New timings are expected to released soon.
Optus Stadium in Perth has a different ticketing deal, with Ticketmaster, and tickets for the West Coast-Collingwood game only went on sale at 9am AWST.
Tickets for members of competing clubs originally went on sale at 9am for the three East Coast week-one finals.
Both Richmond and Hawthorn have confirmed members are experiencing problems trying to purchase tickets for Thursday week’s qualifying final.
The Hawks tweeted to confirm the game is not sold out.
We are awaiting a further update from the AFL and Ticketek.
