just to add to your comment, if Russia does get expelled from the G8, this does nothing to help multilateral economic relations. IMO the US was already heading for a stand-off with the BRIC nations later this year.

And I do think we should be allowed to discuss issues pertaining to the movements in the underlying commodities which NCM mines, although sentiment shouldn't come into these discussions (Lverty being a case in point, he has a political axe to grind and should find another place to grind it).
