Averaging down? And you talk about short term trading being a risky business? Not having a go at you oscar but averaging down is extremely risky and not a practise any savvy advisor would recommend, in fact most would/should recommend against it, throwing good money after bad and all that.
I am happy for you it came good in the end though. A stroke of luck maybe but that's the stock market in general no matter what style of trading you do.
