Yes, I went looking through the announcements, couldn't find any results except the historical numbers and the nearology ramping. Should have been drilling last quarter in 2011 and first quarter 2012 at Tirijit. No results as of yet. You would think, if the results were good, they would release results as they became known.
However, the results from Banfora continue to impress. Every target they move onto has gold, and plenty of good results at shallow depth. I really like Samovogo, 12 km strike, visible gold at each end, drilled up two kilometers for a resource, step out shows gold, this could be 2 million ounces on its own. Then there is Stinger, plus a heap more walk up drill targets.
Mine plan for 180,000 ounces production per annum.
Shallow gold. Open pit.
Plenty more targets.
Lots of funding.
Management delivering results and working hard.
Even if Tirijit is a fizzer, the company ticks the boxes.
