As a former partner in a Japanese restaurant I can only say run & run some more if it’s farmed/caught overseas.

Animals retain heavy metals & all sorts of other dangerous things.

A good example is Basa. People call it ‘Pacific Dory’ because that sounds a lot better than ‘caught in some of the most heavily polluted waters on the planet Dory’.

Food? Water? Anything that contains water, for example beers etc? I’ll pay for stuff from Oz, the higher prices being cheap when I consider the potential long term health implications.

Producers rarely list what’s bad about their products. That of course includes Ozzy producers but most of us know that there is whole lot less bad stuff in our water, air and soil.

We truly are blessed as far as food quality goes here in Oz & NZ, to me it’s one of the silliest things in the world to not enjoy that gift, even if overseas & able to buy our products.
