Just thought i'd share with everyone that i finally pulled the trigger on testing Tile as a dog tracking solution. i looked into all of the options about 12 months ago & they either had bad reviews or had a decent sized monthly fee so put it on the backburner at the time. When i saw the Tile stickers on sale currently for $24.95 thought id give it a go ( we have a mini dachshund so Tile Mate would be too big) Ordered it last week & it arrived today. I'd separately ordered a collar attachment on Amazon for $8.
Set it up on just the free basic version of Tile, linked the Tile to our Life360 account and put it on the dog tonight. Only took 5 mins & we can now see her on our Life360 map.
Tile says there are 2452 other users within a 5km radius of our location so hoping if she ever gets out her location should stay relatively up to date. Also from the Tile App when you press find the Tile plays a tune & i read reviews where others trained their dog to come home & get a treat when they hear the tune.
For $33 all up i reckon its a good option for a dog or cat. i was even able to share the Tile to my daughter's phone on the free plan which was good.
