Some interesting reading and research based on well respected Pew research, based on this majority of Muslim countries do want Sharia law. Even countries like Thailand 77% that you would not associate with Muslims, the Muslims in those countries want Sharia law for Muslim areas. It starts off small/in a certain area and it seems to grow. The problem is Sharia law when imposed to the letter of the law means that any Muslims who convert to other religions can be put to death. Even Malaysia who most view as a 'moderate' Muslim country 62% of Muslims believe that apostates should be executed. This I believe is troubling.

The problem is that this strict interpretation of Islam has been peddled by Saudis through Wahabism and Salafist ideology and have funded a large number of mosques around the world (in Europe/Asia and even Australia). Its a real shame that Chump has decided to cosy up to the root cause of the problem instead of taking them on. You have to wonder why the Saudis were so happy when he came in- they get even more time and opportunity to propagate their version of Islam. If you really want to fix this problem go against the Saudis but Chump and other world leaders prove that they don't have the b@lls to do it either.
