If the "warmists" are wrong and humans arent making the slightest bit of difference, what is the cost? Slight discomfort to your current wellbeing.
If the "non-Believers" are wrong and we actually are impacting the environment, what is the cost? Extreme discomfort to your childrens childrens wellbeing.
Its a hard pill to swallow if someone asks you for a tenner to plant a tree today so that some kid in two generations will enjoy it. Most people will understandably rather keep that tenner for themselves.
Its reminds me a lot of the whole smoking thing. When the big smoking companies were trying to convince everyone that there was nothing harmful about ciggy's. If you look at some really early ads they even tried to advise people that smoking was good for your health.
By the time the cat was out of the bag it was too late for many people. Im skeptical of the difference a carbon tax will make. I dont think we can solely rely on "someone will invent a fix for it in the future.." method either. And just plain ignoring something wont make it go away as im sure most married men will attest to :)
no im not married, and yes im a smoker. Just keep your eyes open people and make sure you have a good look at both sides of an argument before making your decision.
