Listening to a broker is foolish in 90% of cases. They all have their own agendas. An educated personal in the field of commerce with half a brain can easily pick ASX50 winners, or even ASX200s. The big boy brokers don't even cover anything after the 150s.
In a lot of cases the broker can create a north reaction on a small cap/tightly held stock by recommending 30 odd clients (sheep) to a stock.
